Cabin Rental Guest Questions and Answers, FAQs

Below is a list of the most popular questions our guests ask:

Q: If my cabin rental has a fire pit, do I have to buy the Wood?
A: No, we supply the wood. And we even provide fire starter logs, to help get the fire started.

Q: Are the Grills Gas or Charcoal?
A: The Cabin Grills are Propane Gas. We even keep an extra propane tank available in case the other propane gas grill tank runs out.

Q: Where can I buy Beer, Wine, or Liquor?
A: You can buy Beer & Wine in the local Grocery Stores. The Grocery Stores do not sell Beer or Wine on Sundays or after 11 p.m. weeknights. The Liquor can be purchased in Ellijay at 2 Packaging/Liquor Stores.

Q: How close is the nearest Grocery Store?
A: The closest Grocery Store is 3 miles from the cabins. Although, there are closer Convenient Stores for emergency grocery item purchases.

Q. Do I have to bring towels or sheets?
A. No you do not. Our cabin rentals are fully equipped with all of the linens & bedding you will need for your stay. And, NO, you don't have to bring your own Hot Tub Towels either. They are supplied for you.

Q: Do you have Well Water or City Water?
A: Our cabin rentals have City Water and we are happy about that because of any drought situations that may occur.

Q: How is the Entry Access to your cabin rentals?
A: Our cabin rentals have very easy access. They are off of a main paved road, gravel roads (with no pot holes) and are not off of any cliffs. You won't have to worry about driving too far over on any roads and winding up below. We purposely purchased our cabins because of this reason - we wanted easy access ourselves when visiting our cabins. We didn't want to worry about thin, pot whole filled, dirt roads that were on cliff hangers.

Q: Do we have to pay extra for the hot tub cleaning?
A: No, you do not. Part of that fee is included in the cleaning fee. You do not have to pay any extra charges for the hot tub to be cleaned.

Q: What are some of the other items we should bring on our vacation?
A: Shampoo, Conditioner, Toiletries, Paper Cups, Paper Plates, Napkins, Food, Bathing Suits for Hot Tubs, In the warmer months, we suggest Mosquito Repellant Spray or Lotion, Sun Screen, Aqua-Water Shoes and Bathing Suits.

Q: Which cell phones work best in the mountains?
A: We find that Verizon & AT&T work best. You may want to bring a long distance calling card in case your phone service does not work in the area. T-Mobile does not work most of the time.

Q: Do you have telephones in the cabin rentals?
A: Yes, we have phones in the cabins, however, only Local phone calls can be made from the cabin phones. Even when dialing local phone calls, you need to dial the 706 area code, before the local number.
